Comments

You may have heard that the Kokoda Track is currently closed due the track being blocked by landowners! This dispute is not expected to last long and none of the No Roads Expeditions treks will be disrupted by this closure. if you have any questions please feel free to get in touch with the staff at No Roads Expeditions.

From KTOA:
In Reference to recent news reports that the Kokoda Track has been closed. The Kokoda Tour Operators’ Association is in receipt of regular priority updates from the PNG Government and industry sources. We know there is significant work being conducted behind the scenes to resolve the temporary stop on tour traffic by key stakeholders, including Department of Conservation and Environment and the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority. The KTOA is confident that the Track will be reopened soon. We will provide further updates as they are to hand.
