• Our March 2016 expedition to the Kokoda track is a joint No Roads - Health and No Roads - Education trek led by Dan Hogarth (Expedition Leader) and Kirsty Sullivan (Clinical Team Leader). The  March team will support the Kokoda Initiatives work by researching and reporting on the prevalence of anaemia in the antenatals and <3 year olds; demonstrating and training CHWs and VHVs on how to use portable hemoglobin testing units and highlighting the importance of nutrition and links to Hb; and supporting the TB screening program by collecting and transporting final sputums back to Port Moresby microscopy.
• Koko and Edward were returned to their home villages by the November 2015 coastal expedition team and Itoro was brought to Australia and will undergo surgery in the next month or so.
• The September 2016 expedition is now full however we have spaces left for April 2016 (coastal) and October 2016 (Central Track). 2017 expedition dates will be out soon.
