Tufi Health Centre

10/12/2016

Comments

In 2017 NR-H is hoping to see the re-construction of the Tufi Health Centre into a brand new facility with a twelve bed inpatient ward, delivery room and post natal ward area, outpatient facility, dispensary, offices and an amenities block. This has been made possible due to generous sponsorship money the No Roads Foundation (Aust) has been able to secure.

The Story of Shane

5/7/2016

Comments

"The Story of Shane" - on ANZAC DAY The No Roads - Health April XPD Team found young Shane in Tufi and brought him to Port Moreby for treatment with Grandfather Jo.

Shane was suffering from acute renal failure and there was not much hope. The amazing Fiona, aided by Peter Miller, the No Roads - Health network and Port Moresby General Hospital management and staff have been working extremely hard to give this young boy some hope.

Things are still uncertain for young Shane however where there is life there is hope and where there is amazing people like Fiona who will not give up ....well look at his smile!! xoxoxox

Wheelchairs for PNG Kids

1/5/2016

Comments

As previously reported...we met a number of families last November who were caring for their severely disabled children. We purchased some wheelchairs for them and they were delivered (Thank You PNG AIR for your amazing support) by Amanda & Fiona from No Roads Expeditions.

From Fiona..."Thanks for the honour of having the opportunity to deliver these to the families and to witness a life changing day for Andrew, Vicky, Gretel and Noble. I think this was one of the proudest days I have ever had in PNG". ..." Ashron age 6 had never sat up on his own his entire life until this magical day. His joy when first placed in the chair all over his face spoke a million words of how you have all just changed his world! His smile lightened the whole of PNG," WOW!!!
